Privacy policy
Who is responsible: FORXCENT (a private individual in Norway, not a registered company). Contact: Forxent@proton.me. Website: forxcent.com.
Short version: this site has no accounts, no forms, no ads, no analytics tools and no tracking cookies. It counts visits with a single anonymous number. This page explains the details.
1. What data is processed
| Data | Why | Stored? |
|---|---|---|
| IP address and basic request data (browser type, time, page requested) | Needed to deliver the page and to protect it against abuse. Processed by Cloudflare, which hosts the site. | Handled by Cloudflare in its normal operating logs and security systems. I do not receive or keep a list of IP addresses. |
| Visit counter | The page shows how many times it has been opened. Each page load adds 1 to one total number. | Only the total number is stored. It is not linked to you. |
| Country of visit | Used for the visitor map. Cloudflare tells the site which country a request came from, and the site adds 1 to that country's total. | Only a count per country is stored. No IP address is stored. |
| Email message you send me | Only if you choose to write to Forxent@proton.me, to read and reply to you. | In my mailbox (Proton) until it is no longer needed. |
The site has no sign-up, comment, guestbook or contact form, so it does not collect names, messages or other details through the page itself. Text such as the Discord name or the email address is copied to your clipboard only on your own device when you tap it; nothing is sent anywhere.
2. Legal basis
Delivering and securing the site, and keeping the anonymous counters, rest on my legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in running a safe personal website. If you email me, I process your message based on my legitimate interest in answering you, or to take steps you asked for. The counters do not identify you, and I do not use the data for profiling.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
The site does not set cookies and does not use local storage, session storage or similar tools to store information on your device. See the cookie policy.
4. Who receives data
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts and protects the site and acts as a processor. It may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States, under its own data processing terms and recognised transfer safeguards. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Proton AG provides the email service used for Forxent@proton.me.
- I do not sell personal data and I do not share it with advertisers.
5. Links to other services
The page links to other services (for example Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, X, Bluesky, Reddit, Twitch, YouTube, Spotify, Steam, Epic Games, Xbox, PlayStation, Chess.com, eBay, Roblox and Google search). Nothing from those services is loaded when you open this page. They only get data about you if you click a link, and then their own privacy policies apply. The Norway map button shows a drawn map on this site; Google Maps opens only after you confirm that you want to open it.
The site uses no external fonts, scripts, videos, embedded players or tracking pixels. All fonts are hosted on the site itself.
6. How long data is kept
Counters are kept for as long as the site exists. Emails are deleted when they are no longer needed. Cloudflare keeps technical logs according to its own retention rules.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the Norwegian Personal Data Act you may ask for access to, correction or deletion of data about you, restrict or object to processing, and ask for data portability where it applies. Because the site stores no data that identifies you, I may not be able to find anything about you, but you are welcome to ask. Write to Forxent@proton.me.
You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet): datatilsynet.no.
8. Children
The site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them. It collects no personal details through the page.
9. Changes
If the site starts to collect more data (for example a contact form or analytics), this policy will be updated first and, where required, consent will be asked for. The date at the top shows the latest update.
