Accessibility statement
Who is responsible: FORXCENT (a private individual in Norway, not a registered company). Contact: Forxent@proton.me. Website: forxcent.com.
I want the page to be usable by as many people as possible. I aim to follow WCAG 2.1 level AA.
What has been done
- The whole page can be used with a keyboard: Tab and Shift+Tab to move, Enter or Space to activate, Escape to close pop-ups.
- Visible focus outlines on links and buttons.
- Buttons and links have text labels, and icons carry text alternatives or are hidden from screen readers when decorative.
- Text colours were checked against their backgrounds for at least 4.5:1 contrast (3:1 for large text).
- Images have alt text; purely decorative images have empty alt text.
- The page language is set, and animations are reduced or turned off if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Background music only starts after you click to enter, and has a mute button and volume control.
Known limitations
- The mini-games (the star catcher and the runner) need quick pointer or touch input and are not fully playable by keyboard or screen reader. They are optional and do not hold any information.
- Some animated visuals, such as the visitor map and the drawn Norway scenes, are decorative; the same information is not always given as plain text.
